The Transition Bridge Podcast

Good Grief, Hollywood, You Stole My Childhood! Hilary Momberger Powers, Transformational Mentor and Trauma Coach

Episode Summary

This episode is about our childhood wounds. If not recognized, and find their place to heal, they will have the power to impact our adult lives in an incredibly negative way. My guest, Hilary Momberger Powers, shares about her wounds that started in Hollywood and compounded with her family dynamics at home. At the age of 5, she landed her first audition as Sally Brown in the Peanuts Cartoon. She was fortunate to work non-stop until her early teens, but then she was introduced to drugs and alcohol, and her life began to fall apart. Unfortunately, her childhood trauma wounds continued to drive her addiction and all of her decisions from that point on. Her journey—from fame to fall to flourish—isn’t just a story; it’s the foundation of her work. Hilary specializes in trauma-informed coaching, supporting individuals—especially women—in turning pain into purpose. She helps clients heal from past wounds, shift their mindset, and step into a more confident, self-led life. Hilary has over 40 years of life and professional experience working as a Transformational Mentor, Trauma Coach, Motivational Speaker, as well as a dynamic Keynote Presenter committed to helping people rebuild, rise, and truly flourish.
